Warehouse Worker (Sunday Night, Flex Shift)

About the role

Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health by performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This includes functions such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, and more. Additionally, they ensure the efficient flow of products from vendor receipt to customer shipment, adhering to prescribed service parameters.

Responsibilities

• Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurate picking, quality control checks, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Perform cross-training in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Conduct housekeeping and inventory control tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Be willing to train and be certified to operate material handling equipment as required by job duties.

Qualifications

• We welcome candidates with little to no warehouse experience, provided they are comfortable in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
• All training is provided upon starting your first day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in refrigerated areas.
• Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and walk throughout the shift.
• Must have good verbal communication skills and be a team player.
• Must be flexible and adaptable to meet changing business needs.

Schedule

• SUNDAY: 7:30pm - until work is complete (usually 4am)
• Remainder of the week M-F: Work as many or few hours as you choose based on available shifts up to 29 hours per week.
• Shifts typically offered are 8:30p to 4am.
• Receiving notifications on your phone via the Shyft app about shifts, work news, and events.

Pay

Pay rate: $22.28 per hour (includes shift differential).
