Warehouse Worker (Part Time Flex, Day Shift)

Schedule

Flex schedule: Monday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (or until finish). The remainder of the week you may work as many or as few hours as you prefer, based on available shifts. Total weekly hours: 8–29 hours.

Pay

Rate: $19.10 per hour. Bonus eligible: No.

About the role

Warehouse Operations at Cardinal Health is responsible for performing and controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. Functions include receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, and ensuring efficient product flow from vendor receipt to shipment for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurate picking, quality control checks, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross‑train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Train for and become certified to operate material handling equipment such as order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.

Qualifications

• Open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience; all training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Cherry picker experience required.
• Comfort working at heights of 20–30 ft regularly.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for an entire shift.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with technology (e.g., computers or point‑of‑sale systems) a plus.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic proficiency in English (read and write) for document processing.
