Warehouse Worker - MidState Winnfield

About the role

Mid-State Supply provides high-quality, reliable products to customers across the US and plays an essential role in building better communities. The Warehouse Worker processes stock and materials, picks and fills orders, packs and ships products, and manages warehouse organization. This position ensures timely and accurate product delivery while maintaining warehouse cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Safety and Environmental: Promote a safety-based culture, implement safety standards, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations to reduce risk.
• Quality Control / Assurance: Build, implement, and communicate quality standards; monitor internal and external quality and recommend corrective measures.
• Maintenance: Define proactive maintenance plans, set team expectations, and follow processes to ensure equipment reliability.
• Operations / Process Improvement: Optimize warehouse operations, drive systems and processes to meet key performance measures, and encourage continuous improvement.
• Productivity: Achieve excellence in tasks, maintain focus amid challenges, and respond constructively to new opportunities.
• Cost Control: Work with leadership to manage budget allocations and demonstrate cost control in daily operations.
• Organizational / Self Development: Expand expertise in the electrical industry, adapt to change, and focus on team growth and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Class D Driver’s license required.
• Three or more years in a similar role preferred.
• Experience with electrical products, customers, and vendors highly preferred.
• Acceptable driving history.
• Must pass a background check.
• Able to lift 50 pounds by hand on a regular basis.
