About the role

The Warehouse Operations Associate II contributes to Cardinal Health's operations by handling materials and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. This includes receiving, storing, and shipping products efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Unloads trucks in the Inbound section using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to pull pallets out of the trucks.
  • Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products, especially specialty items which require following specific storage regulations.
  • Stores products in designated warehouse locations using order pickers or other warehouse equipment.
  • Picks products from warehouse locations and loads them into outbound trucks.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience, preferred
  • A High School diploma, GED, or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for the entire shift
  • Comfort working with heights up to 20-30 feet regularly
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to be certified on equipment such as reach trucks and cherry pickers

Pay

The anticipated hourly range is $19.00 per hour - $22.57 per hour based on experience. Pay is determined by multiple factors including geographical location, relevant education, experience, and an evaluation of internal pay equity.

Schedule

Hours for this position are: 6:00am - 2:30pm (or working until the work is complete) Monday - Friday. Must be flexible to work overtime based on business needs. Must be available to work the last Saturday of each month, which is mandatory.
