Warehouse Operator (Day Shift)

This position receives, stores, and distributes products within the establishment under moderate to strong supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read order to determine items to be moved, gathered, and distributed.
• Assist in training trainees and temporaries on how to perform all duties safely.
• Perform operator maintenance as necessary.
• Prepare and match appropriate records and/or documents.
• Account for all materials received accurately with proper documentation (packing slips, return authorizations, MSDS).
• Assist/perform the duty of filling outbound shipments accurately with proper documentation (stenciling, staging).
• Maintain upkeep on warehouse equipment.
• Convey material and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size or product code.
• Mark products with identifying information.
• Backfill for Warehouse Lead(s) responsible for the overall direction, coordination, staffing, and evaluation of the shipping warehouse department, working closely with the Shipping Coordinator and other work functions.
• Perform other duties such as cycle counting, computer entry of records, coordination of dispositions, and assisting in coordination of yearly physical inventory.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test (no exceptions).
• Ability to handle material handling equipment.
• 1 year of forklift driving experience preferred, but not required.
• 1 year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Must be punctual and highly dependable.

Pay

$17.00 hourly.

Schedule

7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Interviews conducted Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
