Warehouse Worker/Cover Driver

About the Role

This dual-role position combines warehouse and cover driver responsibilities. Your primary assignment will be warehouse work, with opportunities to serve as a cover driver based on business needs such as package volume, staffing, and seasonal demand. You may rotate between roles throughout the year, sometimes weekly or for extended periods.

Warehouse Worker Responsibilities

• Typically work 3.5 to 5 hours per day, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday
• Load and unload packages from UPS trailers and package cars
• Sort, move, and handle packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Report for assigned warehouse shifts when not scheduled as a Cover Driver

Cover Driver Responsibilities

• Typically work 8 to 10 hours per day, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday
• Safely operate UPS package delivery vehicles
• Deliver and pick up packages while providing excellent customer service
• Work independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment and at customer locations
• Comply with UPS driver appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform
• Meet all UPS driver qualification standards and requirements

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Stamina for physically demanding work
• Valid driver’s license (no CDL required; license type varies by state)
• Satisfactory driving history
• Pass a DOT physical and UPS driver test
• Excellent customer contact and driving skills
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
