Warehouse Worker/Cover Driver

About the Role

This dual-role position combines warehouse and cover driver responsibilities. Your primary assignment will be warehouse work, with opportunities to serve as a cover driver based on business needs such as package volume, staffing, and seasonal demand. You may rotate between roles throughout the year, sometimes week-to-week or for extended periods.

Warehouse Worker Responsibilities

• Typically work 3.5 to 5 hours per day, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday
• Load and unload packages from UPS trailers and package cars
• Sort, move, and handle packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Report for your assigned warehouse shift when not scheduled as a Cover Driver

Cover Driver Responsibilities

• Typically work 8 to 10 hours per day, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday
• Safely operate UPS package delivery vehicles
• Deliver and pick up packages while providing excellent customer service
• Work independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment and in/out of customer locations
• Comply with UPS driver qualification standards and appearance guidelines
• Wear the company-provided uniform

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Stamina for physically demanding work
• Valid driver’s license (no CDL required; license type varies by state)
• Satisfactory driving history
• Pass a DOT physical and UPS driver test
• Excellent customer service and driving skills
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
