Warehouse Worker

Responsibilities

• Ensure Standex receiving policies are followed with regards to received products to maintain consistency and accuracy.
• Verify kits by examining order and contents of kit to ensure accuracy.
• Verify received material by comparing packing slip and order shipped to ensure accuracy of the packing slip.
• Stock office supplies and raw materials to ensure no shortages of supplies occur.
• Maintain accurate inventory count by tracking all outgoing and incoming material to ensure no shortages occur in production materials.
• Receive all warehouse materials by checking delivery to ensure accuracy of order and to check for damaged material in the order.
• Place all materials in their proper place by locating material number or bin to maintain accurate inventory of all materials.
• Accurately assemble kits for prep assembly by utilizing picklist, material requisition, or shop order.
• Operate Wave machine to facilitate placement/gathering for materials.
• Ensure security of warehouse by not permitting any unauthorized personnel unless accompanied by warehouse supervisor or manager.
• Provide materials to personnel at service counter by receiving order and accurately filling the order.
• Assist with deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse area by cleaning and organizing to facilitate location of materials when needed.
• Report safety hazards to supervisor and/or safety officer immediately.
• Secure/lock warehouse (all exterior doors) at the end of every day.
• Follow policies and procedures utilized by the Company and Department to ensure the efficient running of the department and customer satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Degree or equivalent experience.
