Responsibilities
- Ensure Standex receiving policies are followed with regards to received products to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Verify kits by examining order and contents of kit to ensure accuracy.
- Verify received material by comparing packing slip and order shipped to ensure accuracy of the packing slip.
- Stock office supplies and raw materials to ensure no shortages of supplies occur.
- Maintain accurate inventory count by tracking all outgoing and incoming material to ensure no shortages occur in production materials.
- Receive all warehouse materials by checking delivery to ensure accuracy of order and to check for damaged material in the order.
- Place all materials in their proper place by locating material number or bin to maintain accurate inventory of all materials.
- Accurately assemble kits for prep assembly by utilizing picklist, material requisition, or shop order.
- Operate Wave machine to facilitate placement/gathering for materials.
- Ensure security of warehouse by not permitting any unauthorized personnel unless accompanied by warehouse supervisor or manager.
- Provide materials to personnel at service counter by receiving order and accurately filling the order.
- Assist with deliveries.
- Maintain warehouse area by cleaning and organizing to facilitate location of materials when needed.
- Report safety hazards to supervisor and/or safety officer immediately.
- Secure/lock warehouse (all exterior doors) at the end of every day.
- Follow policies and procedures utilized by the Company and Department to ensure the efficient running of the department and customer satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Degree or equivalent experience.
Skills
- Ability to follow instructions.

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and those related to the position.
- Ability to speak fluently with customers, managers, and fellow employees.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction when furnished in written, oral, and diagram form.
