About the role
At PACE Supply, we're a trusted wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, and industrial supplies. We're now seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team in San Francisco, CA. This role offers a pathway to growth and a chance to deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Accurately receive and prioritize incoming orders based on work tags or supervisor instructions.
- Locate and retrieve items from inventory using manual methods or forklifts, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
- Safely perform physical tasks such as lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling to move and manage materials.
- Pull and stage materials as needed to maintain consistent stock levels at production workstations.
- Unload incoming shipments by hand or with a forklift, following all safety procedures and handling protocols.
- Inspect incoming products against accompanying paperwork to verify accuracy; identify and report any missing, damaged, or incorrect items.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure availability and accuracy across the warehouse.
- Process and verify multiple incoming shipments, ensuring order accuracy and promptly resolving any discrepancies.

Qualifications
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal, written, and reading proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction in all interactions.
- Collaborative approach, building positive relationships with internal teams, customers, and external partners (e.g., manufacturers).
- Basic proficiency in math, including counting and performing computations with up to four-digit numbers.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic computer proficiency, including keyboarding and data entry.
- Problem-solving ability to analyze situations, consider relevant factors, and recommend effective solutions.
- Commitment to following workplace rules, methods, policies, and procedures.
Skills

Individual total compensation for this position will be determined at the Company's sole discretion and may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to, location, skill level, years and depth of relevant experience, qualifications and other business considerations.
