Responsibilities

• Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc)
• Sorts and organizes freight
• Operates various types of material handling equipment
• Sorts, repacks, and labels freight
• Identifies unusable pallets
• Basic ability to read, count, and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
• Removes items from sorting bins, scans, and places onto conveyor belt
• Removes items from packing bins, scans items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produces packing list, and bags items
• Operates warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures (eg. bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
• Maintains work area in a clean and hazard-free condition

Requirements

• 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
• Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment—continuously lifting and moving up to 50 lbs
• Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (ie electric pallet jack)
• Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
• Excellent customer service required
• Overtime/Weekends may be required during peak/seasonal volumes
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
• Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
• Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
• Effective communication skills
• Safety shoes are required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Other duties as assigned

Pay

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Pay Scale: Based on productivity

Shift

Third Shift: Monday to Sunday, 11:00 PM - Finish
