About the role

The Warehouse Operator / Delivery Driver position at Reece & Fortiline involves ensuring customers receive essential materials like clean water and heating/cooling. This role requires efficient handling of materials, proper loading and unloading, and delivering high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Working cooperatively in a team to receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material
• Verifying all loads for accurate customer deliveries
• Properly loading and unloading materials from the truck and maintaining inventory control
• Operating the appropriate class of vehicle for the assignment
• Driving in various conditions, including urban and construction settings
• Delivering high quality customer service and professionalism

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license for the assigned vehicle class
• Class C – Vehicles weighing 26,000 lbs or less combined gross weight
• Class B – Box trucks with a combined vehicle weight of 26,001 lbs or more
• Have and maintain a clean driving record

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Forklift certification
• Opportunities to advance into leadership, CDL driver, or sales roles
• Physical demands include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting up to 75 pounds, and working indoors/outdoors
