Warehouse Truck Driver (3rd shift)

About the role

Interface is a global flooring and sustainability leader dedicated to rethinking how spaces work for people and the planet. Our portfolio includes Interface® carpet tile and LVT, nora® rubber flooring, and FLOR® premium area rugs. The Warehouse Truck Driver is responsible for driving the company's tractor/spotter truck to support timely and critical loading and unloading of finished goods and raw materials for manufacturing and distribution. This position will also transport finished goods inventory to off-site locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trailers between different Lagrange plant locations
• Maintain a written record on the condition of production trailers
• Maintain excellent housekeeping
• Comply with safety rules and environmental regulations
• Be aware of departmental material safety data sheets (MSDS)
• Ensure ISO procedures are followed
• Understand and support Interface's commitment to sustainability
• Comply with DOT physical requirements
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
• Work overtime as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• CDL Class A
• Ability to manage multiple requests/tasks
• Must meet requirements for material handling equipment
• Good verbal communication skills
• Work experience driving and backing 53' trailers and pup trailers
• Over-the-road tractor trailer driving experience strongly preferred

Physical demands

• Able to lift 60 lbs on a regular basis
• Driving spotter truck, in and out of vehicle continuously

• Non-climate controlled distribution environment
• Work outside in all types of weather
