Warehouse Transportation and Logistics & Customer Service Coordinator

About the role

As a Transportation and Logistics Coordinator and Customer Service representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of operations within our warehouse. You will be responsible for coordinating Transportation and Logistics, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling, tracking, and documentation.
• Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and couriers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Generate and maintain accurate records, including shipping documents, invoices, and order confirmations.
• Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance metrics and inventory levels.
• Process and fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Handle order-related inquiries and provide status updates to customers as needed.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional education or certifications in Transportation and Logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Previous experience in Transportation and Logistics coordination, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
