Warehouse Technician Biomed

About the role

PromptCare is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Warehouse Technician to join our Biomed Repair team. You will be responsible for cleaning, disinfection, testing, and repairing a diverse range of high-tech and low-tech Respiratory and Monitoring equipment. The role includes data entry, barcoding, maintenance file management, equipment tracking, and handling all related documentation, recalls, and compliance with FDA and ACHC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Test all Respiratory, Monitoring, and related equipment
• Complete and document routine maintenance checks of all appropriate equipment
• Barcode all equipment and bench test new equipment when delivered from manufacturers
• Perform minor maintenance repairs on equipment following all manufacturer and company guidelines
• Tag equipment appropriately, bag, and stock onto patient-ready areas per Policies and Procedures
• Clean and disinfect incoming equipment per safety standards
• Maintain confidentiality of all patients, employees, and financial information in accordance with company procedure and HIPAA Regulations
• Send out all equipment due for servicing/certification
• Handle all equipment recalls and related documentation
• Accept and complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• HME equipment repair experience preferred
• Warehouse experience preferred
• Equipment manufacturer repair certification preferred
• Mechanically inclined
• Good verbal, communication, and organizational skills
• Strong technical skills with a solid knowledge base

• Regularly required to talk and listen
• Frequently required to stand, walk, lift, open filing cabinets, and bend as necessary
• Ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies weighing between 25 and 50 pounds
