Key Responsibilities
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
- Receiving: Unload and inspect incoming materials: verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips: document and store inventory appropriately.
- Kitting: Assemble kits of parts and materials for manufacturing orders per bill of materials and production schedules.
- Picking & Issuing: Accurately pick components and issue parts to the manufacturing floor using ERP or inventory management systems.
- Packaging & Shipping: Properly package products and components for internal use or outbound shipments following company and customer requirements.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records: perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories as needed.
- ITAR Compliance: Handle and store ITAR controlled materials in compliance with all applicable regulations: ensure secure and traceable movement of controlled items.
- Documentation: Complete all required shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation accurately and timely.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in an aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one (company may provide training).
- Familiarity with ERP Systems and inventory tracking tools (e.g. SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Understanding of ITAR and related security requirements is strongly preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand /walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations (U.S citizen or permanent resident).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
