Pay

$21.00 - $22.00/hour (DOE)

Responsibilities

• Operates warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, hand trucks, pallet jacks) to move large and heavy items safely and effectively
• Ensures customer orders are correct and assists customers in a timely and professional manner
• Maintains a viable relationship with truck drivers and customers to ensure needs are met at all times
• Safely lifts, pushes, pulls, and lowers up to 450 lbs. barrels of lubricants numerous times daily
• Maintains quantities of bulk oil and notifies supervisor of any discrepancies
• May be required to fill in for city Delivery Driver
• Works inside as well as outside, including in inclement weather

Requirements

• Ability and willingness to use safety glasses, safety shoes, and ear plugs
• 2+ years' experience working in a warehouse environment
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to acquire DOT Medical Card prior to starting
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Must be able to obtain Forklift certification within 3 months
• Physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED, preferred but not required.
