Warehouse Technician

About the role

As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for loading, packing, and preparing building materials and components for shipments. Your work will play a critical part in ensuring our products are delivered safely, accurately, and on time to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate materials and parts are pulled and packed
• Handle accurate packaging
• Set up loads with precision
• Load material onto trailers efficiently
• Secure loads to ensure safe transportation
• Move items into staging areas in a neat and organized manner

Requirements

• Academic background of high school diploma or equivalent experience or G.E.D.
• Preferred warehouse experience
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to learn and identify parts quickly and accurately
• Proven track record to multitask and adapt to frequent changes or unexpected challenges
• Ability to operate equipment necessary for loading and warehouse processes (overhead cranes, fork trucks, etc.)
• Basic computer skills

Physical and Environmental Abilities

• Bend, squat down, climb, and reach above your head
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Work in various weather conditions and environments
