Image SFX is seeking a dedicated full-time Warehouse Technician to join our Baltimore team, responsible for preparing, organizing, and maintaining equipment used across a wide range of productions, from professional sports presentations to major touring events. The reliability and safety of our equipment are essential to the success of every show we deliver, and our Warehouse Team plays a critical role in ensuring assets are properly prepared, maintained, and ready for deployment. This position is based in Baltimore and follows a Monday through Friday schedule during normal business hours, with overtime available or required based on operational needs. Following training and demonstrated proficiency, opportunities to support live shows as a field Technician may be available on a voluntary basis. Key Responsibilities Prepare, organize, and manage special effects and support equipment for show deployment under moderate supervision by: Following detailed verbal and written instructions, including gear lists and packing plansInspecting, verifying, and counting equipment to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper condition prior to shipmentScanning and tracking equipment using the company’s inventory management systemPacking equipment into storage containers according to established procedures and show requirementsReceiving, inspecting, and properly storing equipment returned from showsPerforming basic inventory maintenance and reporting discrepancies or damaged assetsMaintaining equipment organization and readiness within the warehouseSupporting adherence to established warehouse procedures, safety practices, and handling standardsSharing knowledge of standard operating procedures and preferred workflows with team membersAssisting with task coordination and prioritization when immediate supervisory direction is unavailable Secondary Responsibilities Prepare packages and freight for shipment using approved carriers and methodsReceive, inspect, and process inbound shipments from vendors and third parties Conduct local pickups and deliveries using company-owned vehicles, as neededMaintain a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace, including shelves, pallets, and work areasComplete required safety and compliance training and follow OSHA and company safety policiesFollow established company procedures, policies, and operational directivesPerform other related duties as assigned Requirements Must be at least 18 years of ageAble to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically active environmentWillingness to learn basic repair and maintenance of special effects and event production equipmentValid U.S. Driver’s License requiredAble to pass a background check and drug screeningForklift certification preferred; willingness to obtain certification and operate forklifts regularly Education / Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalentAt least one year of warehouse experience Successful applicants are highly-motivated self-starters with strong attention to detail.
