Warehouse Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload goods and materials
• Update and maintain inventory records, conduct periodic cycle counts, and manage stock levels
• Process pick tickets and issue materials to departments in accordance with work orders
• Communicate with other departments to notify of any possible delays
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as a forklift or other light equipment
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations
• Cook with team members and vendors to ensure timely receipt and procurement of materials

Minimum Qualifications & Education

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Two years’ experience in warehouse operations
• Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills
• Experience with operating a forklift and other light equipment
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a warehouse environment
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time

Work Environment

• Regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must work in compliance with the Florence Copper’s site safety program
• Work hours may be variable to support production areas across the property
• This position must be available to work weekends and accommodate schedule changes based on operational needs
