Warehouse Technician - 2nd Shift

About the role

Join Pentair’s Delavan, WI team as a Warehouse Technician. You will support the Shipping team by managing the end-to-end documentation, processing, and tracking of orders to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trucks efficiently using mechanical and manual means
• Verify inventory and accuracy of shipping and receiving forms
• Deliver raw materials and finished goods using hand or forklift truck to proper departments, cells, or storage areas
• Pick and palletize orders for shipment
• Accurately record all assigned receiving, inventory control, and general warehousing transactions in a timely manner
• Use current production and inventory control systems and software, including SAP for receiving and shipping orders (Domestic and Export)

Requirements

• Ability to work from verbal instructions, written work instructions, and quality plans with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Follow company safety rules and maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Learn 5S Program & Tank Hazmat Training
• Ability to operate forklift, order picker, reach truck, pallet wrapper, and scales (forklift license preferred)
• Physical requirements: Medium work frequently and heavy work infrequently (moving 5-20 lbs)

Schedule

2nd shift: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm, Monday – Friday. Occasional mandatory overtime required.

Pay

Hourly pay: $21.00/hr with an 8% shift differential (total: $22.68/hr). Opportunity for a rate increase after proficiency in certain skills and completion of training.
