Warehouse Team Lead - Will Call (MON-FRI)
About the role
The Warehouse Team Lead will provide direct interaction with all team members involved in shipping/receiving orders, provide assistance and guidance to employees on issues related to the warehouse departments, monitor employees of specific areas, give feedback to the people, and lead the team.
Responsibilities
- Must have a positive “can-do” attitude
- Responsible for aisle patrol
- Verify and enforce safety compliance
- Verify and enforce compliance of the SOPs
- Maintain and update time per task reports
- Maintain and update location issues reports
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the shipping process
- EOD stock chaser audits (cars clean, trash thrown, tablets/scanners plugged and charged in correct spot)
- Provide involvement in the planning and execution of Special Projects related to shipping process
- Lead the shipping team
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Positive “can-do” attitude
- Must have computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have the physical strength and dexterity to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and twist on a regular basis
- Must be able to work independently without close supervision and within a team
- Must have basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately
- Must be able to communicate, understand, and read in English
- Must have sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime when required
Qualifications
- Good interpersonal, relationship building and employee coaching/development skills
- Must be able to operate a warehouse cart
- Must be able to follow detailed instructions/detailed oriented
- Must be able to use electronic devices such as tablets, radios, scanners, etc.

Physical Demands
- Stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling of items up to 50 lbs
- Moderate Hand-Eye coordination, near vision, far vision and hearing is required for the operation of warehouse machinery
