Warehouse Team Lead - Shipping (SUN-THURS)
About the role
The Team Lead at S&S Activewear provides guidance and direct feedback to all team members within assigned tasks. They ensure that proper processes are followed and that errors are addressed quickly. They assist in training of new and present employees and the upkeep of the Distribution Center.
Responsibilities
- Work and collaborate with leadership team for process improvements and provide support throughout the DC.
- Efficiently monitor customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping of products ensuring they meet company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity.
- Operate required machinery with specified departments, which may include cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock chasers.
- Follow & commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, & efficiency.
- Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, or unidentified packages.
- Maintain required processed/procedure audits.
- Train in customer service duties as required.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center.
- Follows all SOPs, safety rules, and regulations.
- Acts professionally and remains focused – contributing to a culture and environment focused on a safe working environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned and be willing to cross train.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Must be comfortable using electronic devices.
- Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
- Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
- Must be flexible with start and departure time changing. Ability to work overtime when needed.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Responsible for any additional duties assigned.

- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Experience in a similar role or relevant field is a plus.

Benefits
- Compensation: $18.50 hourly, Full-Time, Non-Exempt.
- Schedule: Sunday - Thursday (10am - 6:45pm).
