Warehouse Support

About the role

The Warehouse Support plays a crucial role in the efficient operations of the Buffalo Rock Company warehouse. They provide support by performing various general functions, assisting with product handling, documentation, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide general services to the Operations Management.
• Aid in the handling and rework of damaged product.
• Aid in general housekeeping functions within the warehouse, offices, and grounds.
• Generate documents used in the loading process as requested.
• Maintain vehicles moving in and out of the warehouse, if authorized.
• Verify picked orders before they are loaded onto trucks.
• Assist warehouse loaders as needed.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required safety equipment.
• Ensure ethical conduct and protect company assets.
• Complete other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, warm environment, especially during summer months.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse equipment and tools.
• Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification through Buffalo Rock.
