Warehouse Supervisor - Poway

About The Role

The Salvation Army (TSA) Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a no-fee program assisting men and women in their rehabilitation journey. This position is within the dedicated Operations Team at The Salvation Army, supporting the Adult Rehabilitation Program through warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and train warehouse associates and beneficiaries to achieve operational efficiency and production goals.
• Show willingness to lead by example in all aspects of the production department.
• Ensure all merchandise is priced according to policy and maintain quality control.
• Collect and secure all jewelry and high-ticket items.
• Maintain the safe and proper use of warehouse supplies and production equipment.
• Assign other written or verbal duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to differentiate quality of donated items.
• Experience supervising and working in various production units.
• Proven track record of hitting production goals.
• Previous experience working with diverse and vulnerable populations.

Physical Demands

• Sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist intermittently or continuously.
• Grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks, and miscellaneous carts.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform various repetitive motion tasks.

Schedule

Work schedules are determined by management and employees must be flexible to ensure adequate coverage. Full-time employees may be scheduled to work any full-time shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
