Warehouse Supervisor - Lubbock ISD

Job Responsibilities

• Captures and assigns tasks to achieve the most efficient use of personnel and equipment.
• Maintains inventory levels based on usage and demand.
• Receives and inspects incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Safeguards the warehouse by ensuring security and proper storage of inventory.
• Orders supplies from vendors and advises management on necessary items.
• Implements and recommends improvements to enhance warehouse operations.
• Trains warehouse employees and assists with their selection.
• Uncrates shipments and manages container and packaging disposal.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving supervisor role.
• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to variable work demands.

About the Role

This role may involve physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing. Additionally, this position may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the wearing of uniforms.
