About the role
The Warehouse Supervisor role oversees, schedules, and trains warehouse and delivery staff to ensure safe and efficient operation of all warehouse functions. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise, schedule, and train warehouse and delivery staff
- Ensure merchandise is received and stored efficiently and maintain required records
- Schedule and prepare orders for shipment and delivery
- Maintain DOT records and physical examination certificates for drivers
- Schedule and maintain maintenance of all company delivery vehicles and material handling equipment
- Recommend purchases of warehouse equipment and stay updated on new warehousing methods
- Maintain safety and security of warehouse operations and grounds
- Resolve delivery complaints and receiving disputes
Responsibilities
The Warehouse Supervisor role involves:
- Supervising and scheduling warehouse and delivery staff
- Ensuring merchandise is received and stored efficiently
- Preparing orders for shipment and delivery
- Maintaining DOT records and physical examination certificates for drivers
- Scheduling and maintaining maintenance of delivery vehicles and material handling equipment
- Recommend purchases of warehouse equipment and staying updated on new warehousing methods
- Maintaining safety and security of warehouse operations and grounds
- Resolving delivery complaints and receiving disputes
Requirements
The Warehouse Supervisor role requires:
- Ability to drive a vehicle over 10,000 lbs.
- At least 3 years of warehouse receiving and material handling experience
- Experience supervising staff or acting as a team lead
- Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of and ability to enforce OSHA, DOT, and other warehouse and material handling safety regulations
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Ability to remain calm and function effectively in stressful, unexpected, and/or emergency situations
- Ability to quickly develop comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center
- Ability to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for warehouse operations
- Read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Qualifications
The Warehouse Supervisor role requires:
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Driving record meeting Authorized Driver criteria
- Passing a Department of Transportation physical examination
- Comprehensive knowledge of and ability to enforce OSHA, DOT, and other warehouse and material handling safety regulations
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Ability to remain calm and function effectively in stressful, unexpected, and/or emergency situations
- Ability to quickly develop comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center
- Ability to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for warehouse operations
- Read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Pay
Pay for Warehouse Supervisor is between $25 and $26 per hour at this location.
Schedule
Hours are typically full-time, 30 or more hours per week.
