Warehouse Supervisor - B Shift (Days)
What You Will Be Doing
- Supervision and Safety of Employees (including enforcing policies)
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to load & unload trucks
- Create Bill of Ladings
- Research and/or correct discrepancies on bills of lading or transfer sheets
- Attention to detail concerning lot codes, item numbers, and descriptions
- Demonstrate FIFO and Cycle Counting
- Rework of damaged product and cleanliness of equipment/warehouse floor
- Quality assurance of all products
- Receive materials and check in
- Process inbound/outbound loads through warehouse management system
- Create/send daily shift reports
- Coach and mentor employees reporting to this position
- Oversee and assist dock coordinators and other shipping office staff
- Other duties as assigned
What You Need to Bring
- 3 years + experience in warehouse/inventory management
- Computer Literacy and Capability is required, ie. Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, and web browser proficiency
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be detail oriented, strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong problem solving skills
- Formal Inventory and Management skills or certification
