Warehouse Supervisor
About the role
This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and offers the opportunity to directly support operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and plant performance. You will collaborate with warehouse and shipping teams, production, quality, and logistics partners, ensuring smooth material flow, accurate documentation, and safe, compliant operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and coach warehouse and shipping personnel to meet production, quality, and delivery goals.
- Cook up coordination of loading, unloading, and dispatch of shipments to ensure accurate and on-time customer deliveries.
- Maintain inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Oversee proper storage, staging, and movement of raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and control costs.
- Maintain accurate shipping, inventory, and warehouse records using ERP or warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to support smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the safe operation and routine maintenance of forklifts, cranes, and material-handling equipment.
- Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.
Requirements
- 3+ years of warehouse and shipping experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment; steel or pipe/tube experience preferred.
- 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping logistics; ERP or WMS experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate material-handling equipment, and work in an industrial setting.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay
The expected base salary range for this position is $71,000—$98,000 USD. Additional compensation may include yearly merit increase, profit-sharing bonus opportunities, and other benefits.
Schedule
Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00PM-11:00PM
