Warehouse Supervisor

Supervisory Capacity

• Direct Reports: 15-20
• Ensure inventory and reliability of materials at least 95%
• Manage day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials
• Manage human resources of your staff for the distribution of tasks in the plant
• Record receiving and distribution of goods (production material) in warehouse
• Participate and implement improvement projects for warehouse operations
• Update stock level for Material coordinators
• Participate in annual inventory
• Follow YF iOS work instructions and other procedures concerning warehouse management
• Follow legal and other requirements concerning environment protection
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Conduct regular safety audits and address potential hazards promptly

Required Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Area of Study: General Studies/Supply Chain Management or similar
• 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience with warehouse/materials supervision with previous experience supervising people.
• 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry preferred.
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license
• Able to pass forklift certification testing.
• Detail oriented.
• Experience with Microsoft systems
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
• Experienced coaching employees (performance reviews/corrective actions)
• Counting/Basic math skills
