Warehouse Supervisor
About the role
Scotts Miracle-Gro is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our new 1.3M sq ft foot Distribution Center in Marysville, OH. The DC services both internal and external customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective distribution of raw materials and finished goods.
Responsibilities
- Lead shift operations within the Marysville Distribution Center.
- Ensure the customer shipping schedule is obtained and review shifts, lending assistance as needed.
- Direct distribution associates to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance.
- Work with the packaging department to maintain product quality and 100% packaging uptime.
- Utilize SAP to monitor inventory and quality, making adjustments as necessary.
- Train and develop associates in surge and loading procedures, as well as customer-specific requirements.
- Train and enforce Scotts Miracle-Gro policies and procedures.
- Ensure a safe and compliant work area.
- Manage overtime requirements based on manpower needs that balance the budget.
- Work with the returns coordinator on processing returned products.
- Set and maintain high standards of housekeeping.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or similar production environment.
- Basic understanding of distribution, transportation, inventory control, and freight routing.
- Computer skills including Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
- Strong leadership skills and effective communication with excellent time management.
- The ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and/or hours, including weekends during busy seasons.
- Strong administrative and planning skills.
- SAP experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, and seasonal manufacturing environment.

Benefits
Starting budgeted pay range for this role is generally between $77,200.00 - $90,800.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay, including skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. This role is also incentive eligible under corporate bonus programs. For remote roles in certain states, state required pay thresholds may be factored into base salary.
Pay
The starting budgeted pay range for this role is generally between $77,200.00 - $90,800.00 per year.
