About the Role
The Warehouse Supervisor ensures the operational success of an assigned area and/or customer by driving efficient use of labor and following internal processes. This role focuses on providing exemplary customer service through inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, task prioritization, and staff leadership.
Responsibilities
- Drives teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met.
- Trains staff and monitors their performance, progress, and service levels.
- Handles general administrative duties such as responding to inquiries, managing timecards, entering productivity data, and related tasks.
- Oversees hiring, onboarding, daily management, performance reviews, promotions/demotions, coaching, discipline, and termination processes for assigned employees.
- Identifies key team members for cross-training and promotion opportunities to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Promotes and adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure customer needs are met or exceeded daily.
- Assists the Operations team in investigating and resolving customer concerns and support inquiries.
- Oversees customer inventories, monitors orders and shipments, and ensures quality, delivery, and budget objectives are met or exceeded.
- Recommends improvements for warehouse operations, focusing on process workflow, personnel, space requirements, equipment, and layout.
- Produces regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as directed.
- Completes other duties as assigned by the Operations Team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related professional experience.
- 3+ years of industry work experience, including two years of specific warehouse experience with proven results; supply chain experience required.
- Advanced service, production, or supervisory role with responsibility for performing most standard functions within the role.
- Personnel management and supervisory experience required.
- Prior experience with Domestic and International logistics services.
- Proficiency in leveraging technology for daily tasks, including strong familiarity with MS Office (Exchange, Word, Excel), web navigation, and basic hardware.
- Prior experience with PO systems, enterprise sourcing, and/or inventory oversight for multiple locations.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.

Physical or Mental Demands
- Regularly required to see, hear, talk, write, read, stand, walk, and bend over while remaining alert at all times.
- Frequently required to use hands to type, handle, or feel objects and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, drive, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
- May need to lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds when visiting warehouse locations.
