Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Shape Technologies Group - Baxter Springs is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Logistics team. The role is part of a broader ecosystem of companies collectively known as SHAPE, which provides advanced process solutions to customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the activities of the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments.
• Train, mentor, and coach shipping and receiving personnel to improve performance and enhance productivity.
• Ensure that all shipped and received products meet quality standards and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee the organization and storage of incoming and outgoing goods within the warehouse facility.
• Oversee the movement of the shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement measures to optimize shipping and receiving operations.
• Generate reports as required to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and departmental metrics.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs regulations, import/export laws, and safety standards.
• Enforce safety regulations and procedures to create a safe working environment for employees and minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.

Requirements

• Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of proven experience in Shipping and Receiving supervision.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in using a Quality Management System (QMS).
