Royal Oak Enterprises, LLC is a leading manufacturer and marketer of branded and private label charcoal, manufactured fire logs, fire building products, matches, and toothpicks. The company also produces railroad cross ties and offers a full suite of grilling products, including charcoal briquettes, all-natural lump charcoal, fire starters, and brands like Pine Mountain, Diamond, and Specialty Wood Products.

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor leads the shipping team in efficiency, stocking and storage strategy, inventory management, and related strategic warehousing efforts. This role coordinates operational activities within the shipping unit and collaborates with the unit’s supervisor on performance management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the shipping team in executing daily operations, improving task efficiency, and managing warehouse resources.
  • Analyze data to optimize resource use.
  • Coordinate daily activities of forklift operators.
  • Manage loading and unloading of trucks using team resources.
  • Check in drivers and verify load numbers.
  • Print bills of lading.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational safety protocols; conduct daily safety meetings.
  • Assist in training new hires.
  • Report periodically to the supervisor on team and individual accomplishments, progress, and challenges.
  • Assist with physical inventory of raw materials or finished goods; ensure accuracy and adherence to inventory processes.
  • Perform additional duties to support daily operations as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of relevant work experience preferred.

Schedule

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturdays during shipping season.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Ability to lift and carry approximately 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (minimum 12 hours).
  • Ability to work in extreme environmental temperatures.
  • Ability to work overtime, occasionally on short notice.
  • Casual manufacturing environment; attire appropriate for manual labor.
