Warehouse Supervisor

Role Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, returns, order picking, packing, stocking, and managing controlled substances shipments.

Responsibilities

• Directing and motivating associates
• Monitoring work processes and implementing efficiency improvements
• Ensuring safety and compliance with policies and regulations
• Coaching employees and maintaining detailed records of shipments and controlled substances
• Managing department staff, tracking attendance and performance
• Ensuring quality in packing and order fulfillment
• Handling customer interactions related to delivery issues
• Supporting physical inventory activities

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, supply chain, or related fields
• Minimum of two years of related, progressively responsible experience
• Effective leadership, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, safety standards, and DEA regulations
• Basic math, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with computers and familiarity with RF devices and equipment like reach trucks

Key Duties

• Supervise receipt, verification, and documentation of merchandise and controlled substances
• Oversee order processing, packing quality, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements
• Manage associates, monitor performance, and support their professional development
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery and resolve delivery or order issues
• Support physical inventories and maintain safety and operational procedures

Work Environment

This position is onsite in Salt Lake City, UT, requiring flexibility in hours, including potential extended hours and participation in physical inventory activities.
