Warehouse Supervisor
Role Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, returns, picking, packing, and inventory management of controlled substances. They are responsible for hiring, training, directing, and evaluating associates to ensure safety, efficiency, and accuracy in all tasks. The role involves monitoring workflows, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety policies, DEA regulations, and company procedures. Supervisors oversee record-keeping for shipments, manage order fulfillment, and maintain high standards for packing quality. They also track attendance, performance, and overtime while supporting team development through coaching. Additionally, they may operate RF devices and reach trucks, participate in physical inventories, and resolve delivery or order issues with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily warehouse activities and associate performance.
- Ensure safety guidelines and regulatory compliance are followed.
- Oversee receipt, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and controlled substances.
- Monitor and improve workflow efficiency and productivity.
- Support associate development and manage attendance and overtime.
- Handle customer interactions related to delivery and order issues.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, administration, or related fields.
- Minimum of two years of relevant supervisory experience.
- Effective communication, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to foster teamwork and establish positive relationships.
- Physical ability to operate warehouse equipment, including reach trucks.
