Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising warehouse personnel, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely shipping and receiving activities, and promoting a safe and efficient workplace. The ideal candidate has experience in food manufacturing and possesses strong leadership skills with a focus on continuous operational improvement.

Responsibilities

• Implement purchasing strategies
• Oversee daily purchasing activities
• Review and analyze price variances
• Monitor new product forecast
• Determine cost-effective materials
• Negotiate supplier management pricing
• Monitor vendor performance
• Provide cost management
• Improve purchasing systems and processes
• Train and mentor new employees

Requirements

• 5+ years in inventory management, procurement, or similar role
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Microsoft Office skills, Advanced Excel
• Proficient in inventory management software/tools
• Strong critical thinking skills
