Warehouse Supervisor – Orlando

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and monitors the day-to-day operations for the warehouse department to ensure that established objectives for shipping, product rotation, sanitation, safety, and timeliness are met or exceeded
• Maintains compliance with QIP, HACCP, and DOT regulations through monitoring loading, dispatch, and receiving times and making appropriate changes
• Routinely informs and communicates with associates to ensure compliance with established warehouse productivity, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures
• Maintains and completes numerous computer-based and manual reports and related paperwork, including time records, daily logs, damage reports, etc.
• Maintains product damage and audits routes to ensure reliable product delivery
• Plans and schedules manpower
• Schedules and coordinates vehicle and equipment maintenance and utilization
• Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, including team supervision
• AA degree preferred (vocational/technical accepted), forklift instructor certification a plus
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols, food handling, and inventory best practices
• Proficiency in computer systems and reporting (barcoding, warehouse systems, timekeeping)
• Ability to lead a diverse team in a 24/7 operation with a focus on collaboration, safety, and efficiency
• Experience working in (or around) union environments - union background a plus but not required

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, including team supervision
• Lead a diverse workforce in a 24 hour/7 day per week operation
• Supervise and motivate associates in a team-based environment
• Interpret warehouse operations anomalies and identify appropriate solutions
• Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high levels of quality and customer service

• Full-time, on-site supervisory role in a temperature-controlled warehouse
• Must be open to AM or PM Shift
• Supports a 24/7 operation with flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Leads a large-scale warehouse team focused on safety, reliability, and service
