Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

P.J. Fitzpatrick, a family-owned home remodeling company with over 40 years of experience, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory accuracy, order picking, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. This role involves managing and dispatching team members to job sites for final clean-ups and material deliveries, requiring strong leadership and coordination skills to meet productivity goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Warehouse Staff: Oversee daily tasks of Warehouse Logistics Specialist and Associates, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback to the General Manager.
• Inventory Management: Perform routine cycle counts, maintain accurate records, monitor custom orders, and participate in inventory counts.
• Coordinate Shipping and Receiving: Manage incoming/outgoing orders, oversee order fulfillment, and ensure accuracy.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure forklifts, ladders, and tools are well-maintained and inspected.
• Problem Solving: Address daily challenges like picking errors or staffing issues.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety procedures, inspect emergency equipment, and ensure compliance.
• Security: Uphold warehouse security policies and restrict access to authorized personnel.
• Warehouse Organization: Properly store materials, maintain a clutter-free workspace, and organize vendor paperwork.
• Housekeeping: Follow a daily checklist to ensure a safe, clean, and organized warehouse.
• Customer Service Support: Handle will-call orders accurately and maintain a customer-focused approach.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a plus.
• Forklift certification or willingness to operate a forklift.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
• Prolonged periods of standing.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay

$25-$27 per hour, plus potential monthly incentives.
