Responsibilities
- Train shipping and receiving employees, planning, assigning, and directing work
- Aid in appraising performances, rewarding and disciplining employees and addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Ensure area is fully staffed to meet material movement needs
- Provide support for the Material Tech in the event of vacation, absence or call-in day
- Cover docks in between shifts
- Support the Materials department with day-to-day shipping and receiving tasks
- Perform Ford eDDL/CMMS training to respond to customer notices
- Maintain and monitor communication boards
- Support other facilities as backup for vacations/absences
Qualifications
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or a related position
- An Associate degree in Management, Business Administration or a related field
- Previous supervisory experience
- Four (4) years of experience with MSOffice Suite (Word, Excel, Email, and Spreadsheets) at an advanced level
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience with basic material tracking software (accurately and proficiently performing data entry)
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
