About the role

As the Warehouse and Materials Supervisor at PNY, you will oversee 3 Warehouse Leads and roughly 20-40 employees working across multiple facilities. You will assign tasks, adjust workloads to meet distribution and transportation needs, schedule training, monitor employee progress, ensure safety and quality, track productivity, and troubleshoot employee concerns. This role involves sharing specialized knowledge with management to develop and implement ongoing processes or special projects, recommending process changes to eliminate repetitive problems and waste (LEAN/5S), and coordinating employees and equipment between facilities to support organizational needs.

You will ensure efficient warehousing of pharmaceutical products through the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures, oversee warehouse activities to optimize space for storing and distributing raw materials, packaging components, and finished products, and direct warehouse leads in organizing receiving, storing, and moving materials. Additionally, you will implement inventory procedures, conduct audits and cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise departmental activities to ensure manufactured products meet or exceed all established quality requirements, including product integrity and production order documentation.
  • Direct personnel through training, performance appraisal, discipline, and safety compliance.
  • Determine department priorities based on weekly production schedules and make daily assignments.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Services to facilitate product/component releases and ensure budget compliance, including allocation of team overtime and meeting annual budget objectives.
  • Monitor warehouse activity to ensure compliance with established procedures and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Arrange for the maintenance of machines, equipment, and facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; in lieu of a degree, a minimum of four (4) years of leadership experience is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to provide direction, guidance, and support across multiple functional areas.
  • One to three (1–3) years of logistics, distribution, or warehouse supervisory experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working in an FDA- and DEA-regulated environment preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize and respond effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to analyze issues, develop solutions, and drive results while maintaining compliance and operational efficiency.

Pay

The salary range for this role starts at $80,000-$100,000.
