Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate the warehouse, manage transportation, and package finished products.
• Manage all warehouse employees, provide training, and ensure proper operations.
• Maintain proper operation of warehouse department and monitor forklift inspections.
• Administer return authorization forms, notify quality department, and ensure timely shipment of customer returns.
• Ensure correct shipping and inventory practices, and that customer releases are shipped on time.
• Ensure incoming materials are delivered to the proper departments.
• Ensure employees understand and follow proper forklift, pallet jack, battery charger, and shrink wrap machine operation and safety guidelines.
• Apply proper packing and skid wrapping procedures and instruct employees.
• Conduct quarterly cycle counts for all inventories and order appropriate supplies.
• Implement progressive discipline as necessary.
• Affiliate with the company's annual budget and adhere to approved budget limits.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment preferred. Forklift certification is required. Must have strong organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of inventory management and packaging procedures is beneficial.

Qualifications

Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

Skills

Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control software is a plus.

Pay

$20 - $25 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend and holiday work as needed.
