Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor at Cencora is responsible for overseeing various warehouse functions including receiving, shipping, returns, picking, packing, checking, stocking, order filling, returns, and managing the cage/vault area. This role involves supervising associates, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines, and supporting compliance with DEA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, terminating, and directing warehouse associates.
• Overseeing the workflow, motivating, training, and monitoring the performance of warehouse associates.
• Making suggestions for modifications to increase and improve productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Maintaining records of the delivery process, including time, date, quantity, source, and destination of materials shipped.
• Fostering teamwork and maintaining positive working relationships with distribution center associates.
• Ensuring the maintenance of detailed records documenting incoming and outgoing controlled substances into the cage/vault area.
• Tracking attendance, monitoring performance, and managing overtime for associates in their area of responsibility.

Requirements

Requires a minimum of two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience in a warehouse environment. Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations.
• Skills: Communication skills, decision-making skills, basic mathematical skills, analytical skills, leadership/coaching skills, interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, working knowledge of warehouse operations, and proficiency in using computers for tasks like Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Pay

$3,000 sign-on bonus provided upon hire.

Schedule

Shift Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - Complete. Flexibility in schedule may be required based on business needs, including working different hours or days.
