Warehouse Supervisor

Mitsubishi Chemical Group (MCGC) and its subsidiaries consider candidates authorized to work in the location listed in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper raw materials are staged in a timely manner for production.
• Post material movements and shipments in SAP.
• Coordinate shipments to outside warehouses.
• Proactively communicate with all team members, including management, on shipping issues and stock transfers.
• Work with customer service and sales management to coordinate and implement processes ensuring customer requirements are met.
• Assist management with warehouse visits to verify boxes are labeled per customer requirements and physically check inventory.
• Produce and ensure label templates are set up per customer requirements.
• Verify, inspect, and document the receipt of all raw materials, finished goods, and other goods.
• Weigh incoming railcars and hopper trucks using on-site scales.
• Ensure proper inspection, sampling, and testing of materials, if required.
• Verify that the Quality Coordinator has approved the Certificate of Analysis (COA) for materials and complete SAP transactions.
• Complete all applicable sections of the Hopper Truck/Car Inspection Checklist Loading Form for raw materials received in hopper trucks.
• Inspect empty railcar compartments once pack-out is completed.
• Direct carriers to the proper railcar and compartment for unloading, ensuring hoses are properly connected and secured.
• Ensure carriers follow Mytex loading and unloading procedures; obtain weights of empty materials and hopper cars.
• Verify that all dock doors and dock levelers are inspected and in proper working condition.
• Ensure Material Handling Equipment is checked daily, in proper working condition, and schedule preventive maintenance per company standards.
• Coordinate year-end physical inventory, including scheduling teams and defining counting procedures.
• Oversee day-to-day execution of cycle counts: assign material selections, counters, review count sheets, oversee recounts, submit discrepancy reports, and ensure procedure compliance.
• Oversee recycling efforts at Mytex GA.
• Pick and coordinate all customer orders per customer requirements.
• Perform monthly railroad track inspections and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Train employees on Material Handling Equipment.
• For returning empty raw material railcars:
  • Visually inspect each compartment to ensure all material has been emptied.
  • Ensure all valves and hatches are closed and the railcar is prepared for return-to-service (RTS).
• Comply with all applicable customer, safety, ISO/IATF 16949 QMS, and ISO14001 EMS requirements.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Certified forklift driver.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $82,600 – $92,900. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
