About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily operations within a fast-paced food logistics environment, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols. This role requires strong organizational skills and a results-driven approach to manage warehouse activities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Cook inventory management, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods (chilled, frozen, and dry)
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve performance targets
• Implement and maintain health and safety standards across all warehouse activities
• Monitor and optimize warehouse processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall logistics and supply chain objectives
• Ensure proper maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment and vehicles
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for all warehouse activities

Requirements

• Experience in warehouse operations from food production and manufacturing (Frozen, Chilled, and Dry goods)
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse management systems
• Ability to operate various forklifts
• Commitment to maintaining workplace safety and compliance with regulations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges proactively
• Ability to work different shifts when needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse operations experience from food production and manufacturing (Frozen, Chilled, and Dry goods)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate various forklifts
