Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

We're seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate inventory handling, and timely order fulfillment. This role directly supervises warehouse staff, enforces safety standards, and supports operational goals through hands-on leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control
• Lead and direct warehouse associates, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance monitoring
• Ensure accuracy of inventory through cycle counts and proper system transactions
• Maintain productivity standards and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development
• Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce errors
• Resolve operational issues and escalate concerns as needed
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3+ years of warehouse or distribution experience
• 1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience preferred
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear
• Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
• Prolonged periods of standing
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception
