Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

You\ll be responsible for the direction and management of Warehouse Operations. This position will ensure customer satisfaction through work practices congruent to Masters Gallery Foods\ performance metrics, safety, and regulatory standards while delivering continuously improving results, leading Warehouse associates to deliver on-time, quality and accurate orders to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all Warehouse Department activities.
• Measures productivity of direct reports and holds them accountable for meeting required performance standards.
• Ensures all receiving and shipping is completed by required times to facilitate order compliance.
• Develops direct report through training, effective communication, and general accountability (pre-shift meetings, forklift training, safety, cross-training, etc.).
• Gathers data, prepares reports, analyzes, problem solves, provides findings to various customers, including vendors, outside carriers, sales, transportation, customer service, and customers.
• Utilize employee input to make changes that benefit the person, the team, and the Company.
• Set subsequent shifts up with opportunities to be successful.
• Conducts investigations to identify problem sources and make decisions regarding solutions to those problems.
• Lead and organize specific Continuous Improvement initiatives within Warehouse Department.
• Perform training audits and annual performance reviews on Warehouse team members.
• Shares resources with Production and Quality (labor, equipment, knowledge, etc.) and acts as a team member in serving the customer.
• Enforce all standards, policies, and procedures of Masters Gallery Foods with safety and quality at top of mind.
• Proactively pursue safety initiatives and ensure a safe work environment.
• Perform miscellaneous projects as assigned by the Warehouse Operations Manager and/or Executive Vice President.
