Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities
- Supervise all incoming and outgoing deliveries for accuracy
- Cover the daily receiving of medications, supplies and equipment from distributors and suppliers
- Check all medication and supply packages for damage, tampering, and expiration dates
- Ensure the proper handling, rotation and storage of all medications and supplies in warehouse
- Assign and/or adjust product locations and document them in CPR+
- Stock replenishment of quantities and lots through company purchase orders (PO)
- Process PO with matching packing slips per local office procedure
- Handle sharps, bio-hazardous, cytotoxic, hazardous materials and pharmaceutical waste in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policies and procedures
- Maintain min/max shelf quantities and document on ordering log
- Restock picking locations daily from overstock areas
- Assemble shipping supplies
- Perform medical equipment cleaning and testing as required
- Data entry management of new, current or returned serialized equipment
- Contact patients as needed to coordinate pick-up of equipment
- Ensure completion of daily route sheets
- Enter shipping data into common carriers' computer systems and track shipments as needed
- Perform monthly generator and fire extinguisher checks
- Absorb assistance with performing quarterly building checks not limited to but including first aid kit, eye wash stations, lighting, disaster kit etc.
- Perform monthly and quarterly cycle counts with pharmacy department
- Follow all safety regulations and legal documentation pertaining to warehousing
- Work with Patient Service Representatives to schedule pickup of infusion pumps from active and inactive patients
- Monitor pumps while they are rented out to patients for annual maintenance
- Input newly rented infusion pumps into CPR+ and send returned pumps back to our rental companies
- Absorb assistance with ordering functions using CPR+
- Perform other related duties as directed by management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Registered Pharmacy Technician license in good standing required
- Previous home care, home infusion or related healthcare experience highly preferred
- At least one-year previous warehouse coordination experience required
Skills
- Good written and oral communication skills (multi-lingual desired)
- Possess basic computer skills including MS Office, Windows, Outlook, and internet
- General level of interpersonal skills to interact effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers
- General knowledge of modern office procedures, filing, telephone techniques, and office equipment
- Demonstrates moderate level ability to multi-task as well as problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain performance levels that support the mission and philosophy of the company of providing exceptional patient care services and satisfaction
- Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors
- Working well with others with a team approach
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing and organizing tasks
- Ability to efficiently use email, internet and various software products to complete tasks
