Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise all incoming and outgoing deliveries for accuracy
• Cover the daily receiving of medications, supplies and equipment from distributors and suppliers
• Check all medication and supply packages for damage, tampering, and expiration dates
• Ensure the proper handling, rotation and storage of all medications and supplies in warehouse
• Assign and/or adjust product locations and document them in CPR+
• Stock replenishment of quantities and lots through company purchase orders (PO)
• Process PO with matching packing slips per local office procedure
• Handle sharps, bio-hazardous, cytotoxic, hazardous materials and pharmaceutical waste in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policies and procedures
• Maintain min/max shelf quantities and document on ordering log
• Restock picking locations daily from overstock areas
• Assemble shipping supplies
• Perform medical equipment cleaning and testing as required
• Data entry management of new, current or returned serialized equipment
• Contact patients as needed to coordinate pick-up of equipment
• Ensure completion of daily route sheets
• Enter shipping data into common carriers' computer systems and track shipments as needed
• Perform monthly generator and fire extinguisher checks
• Absorb assistance with performing quarterly building checks not limited to but including first aid kit, eye wash stations, lighting, disaster kit etc.
• Perform monthly and quarterly cycle counts with pharmacy department
• Follow all safety regulations and legal documentation pertaining to warehousing
• Work with Patient Service Representatives to schedule pickup of infusion pumps from active and inactive patients
• Monitor pumps while they are rented out to patients for annual maintenance
• Input newly rented infusion pumps into CPR+ and send returned pumps back to our rental companies
• Absorb assistance with ordering functions using CPR+
• Perform other related duties as directed by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Registered Pharmacy Technician license in good standing required
• Previous home care, home infusion or related healthcare experience highly preferred
• At least one-year previous warehouse coordination experience required

Skills

• Good written and oral communication skills (multi-lingual desired)
• Possess basic computer skills including MS Office, Windows, Outlook, and internet
• General level of interpersonal skills to interact effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers
• General knowledge of modern office procedures, filing, telephone techniques, and office equipment
• Demonstrates moderate level ability to multi-task as well as problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain performance levels that support the mission and philosophy of the company of providing exceptional patient care services and satisfaction
• Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors
• Working well with others with a team approach
• Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing and organizing tasks
• Ability to efficiently use email, internet and various software products to complete tasks
