WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR JRL Group – McMullen Facades Location: Carlton‑on‑Trent, Newark (adjacent to the A1) Reports to: Stores Manager Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:30am – 4:00pm | Friday 7:30am – 3:00pm – paid for full shift Permanent PAYE Role Overview You will oversee the day‑to‑day running of our warehouse, keeping operations safe, efficient and accurate. You will manage the receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of facade materials, glazing components, tools and equipment, while leading the team, maintaining stock accuracy and upholding high safety standards. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Supervise goods‑in, unloading, checking, storage, picking, packing and dispatchVerify deliveries against purchase orders and update stock management systems accuratelyOrganise safe movement and storage of materials to ensure traceability and easy retrievalEnsure materials are prepared and issued on time to support project and installation schedules Team Leadership Allocate daily tasks and priorities to warehouse staffProvide guidance, training and support to ensure safe and efficient workingMonitor attendance, timekeeping and performance, escalating issues as requiredPromote a positive, collaborative team culture aligned with company standards Health & Safety Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, policies and safe systems of workConduct regular warehouse safety, housekeeping and equipment checksOversee safe use of forklifts, pallet trucks and all lifting equipmentMaintain clear access to aisles, exits, fire points and loading areasReport and assist with investigation of accidents, incidents and unsafe conditions Stock Control & Administration Maintain accurate stock records and support cycle counts and full stock auditsInvestigate discrepancies and implement corrective actionsMonitor stock levels and flag replenishment requirements for consumables, PPE and suppliesEnsure all ERP/stock systems are updated promptly and accuratelyProduce reports to support operational planning and decision‑makingComplete all required documentation, delivery records and operational reportsCommunicate shortages, delivery delays or operational concerns to the Stores Manager Housekeeping & Standards Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and order across all areasDispose of waste and recyclable materials correctlyPromote a clean‑as‑you‑go cultureEnsure all storage locations remain safe, organised and audit‑ready PERSON SPECIFICATION Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role, ideally within construction, manufacturing or building materialsStrong knowledge of goods‑in, stock control, picking and dispatch processesGood understanding of Health & Safety requirements in a warehouse or construction environmentProven ability to lead teams and coordinate workloads effectivelyStrong communication, organisation and problem‑solving skillsCompetent in Microsoft Office and computerised stock management systems Desirable IOSH Working Safely / Managing Safely or equivalent qualificationCounterbalance and/or Reach forklift licenceExperience handling facade systems, glazing products, aluminium profiles or construction materialsFamiliarity with ERP or WMS systems How To Apply Please send your CV to: jack.clark@jrlgroup.co.uk Close date Friday 7th August 2026
