Warehouse Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities
- Assign and supervise warehouse shipping, receiving, LTL, shuttle, common carrier, inter-branch, and waste shipments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and customer requirements are met.
- Schedule and supervise production activities, including container preparation, bulk receipts, and direct tanker drum-off activities.
- Lead daily safety, housekeeping, and compliance efforts, including DOT, RCRA, environmental, health, safety, and Hydrite SOP requirements.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through FIFO product rotation, cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and corrective actions.
- Support production scheduling by coordinating labor, equipment, packaging materials, tank availability, shipment priorities, and customer needs.
- Coach, train, and develop warehouse operators while setting expectations, providing feedback, and promoting accountability.
- Track and act on key performance indicators for safety, quality, inventory accuracy, productivity, service levels, loading performance, cycle counts, and housekeeping.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, improving standard work, participating in root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions.

- Lead by example and hold operators accountable to Hydrite work rules, SOPs, safety expectations, housekeeping standards, and performance goals.
- Participate in required RCRA, DOT, EHS, process, and job-specific training and communicate applicable requirements to operators.
- Maintain compliant handling, labeling, storage, segregation, shipment, and disposal practices within assigned areas.
- Use KPIs, cycle count results, safety observations, inventory data, and production priorities to identify issues and drive corrective actions.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, transportation, customer service, purchasing, quality, EHS, and other Hydrite departments.
- Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, efficiency, inventory accuracy, standard work, training, and overall warehouse performance.
- Maintain regular attendance and perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs, along with other duties as assigned.
Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Plant Manager.
Preferred Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- An associate degree, technical training, or equivalent warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory control, production, chemical handling, or manufacturing experience required; supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- A working knowledge of warehouse safety, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, production scheduling, DOT/RCRA, EHS, and chemical handling requirements preferred.
- A strong computer skills required, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel; business system experience preferred.
- A working knowledge of forklift operation required; prior forklift and material-handling experience preferred.
- Strong communication, coaching, problem-solving, and organizational skills required; must be able to read, write, and speak English.
