Essential Functions
- Oversees daily shift operations including selection, shipping, receiving, and trailer loading.
- Determines work sequences and handles priority loads promptly.
- Supervises team members and traffic clerks, resolving issues as they arise.
- Maintains performance records and inspects operations for risks.
- Assigns work, monitors productivity, and ensures high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety.
- Plans and coordinates operations to achieve on-time deliveries and reduce irregularities and damage.
- Promotes safety by supporting company safety programs and enforcing rules.
- Communicates policies, safety regulations, and SOPs, ensuring compliance and consistency.
- Audits loads, provides feedback, and seals outbound loads correctly.
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, minimizing product damage.
- Trains, coaches, and provides feedback to warehouse team members.
- Investigates operational errors and inventory issues, offering corrective action when needed.
- Prepares and submits reports on work activities and accidents.
- Drives vehicles or operates machines to complete work assignments.
