Essential Functions

  • Oversees daily shift operations including selection, shipping, receiving, and trailer loading.
  • Determines work sequences and handles priority loads promptly.
  • Supervises team members and traffic clerks, resolving issues as they arise.
  • Maintains performance records and inspects operations for risks.
  • Assigns work, monitors productivity, and ensures high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety.
  • Plans and coordinates operations to achieve on-time deliveries and reduce irregularities and damage.
  • Promotes safety by supporting company safety programs and enforcing rules.
  • Communicates policies, safety regulations, and SOPs, ensuring compliance and consistency.
  • Audits loads, provides feedback, and seals outbound loads correctly.
  • Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, minimizing product damage.
  • Trains, coaches, and provides feedback to warehouse team members.
  • Investigates operational errors and inventory issues, offering corrective action when needed.
  • Prepares and submits reports on work activities and accidents.
  • Drives vehicles or operates machines to complete work assignments.
